The Advanced Editor Input component acts like a mini-Notion app inside your project, offering a highly customizable writing experience with built-in AI assistance. Let's break down how it works.
<h2 id="toolbar"><a aria-hidden="true" tabindex="-1" href="#toolbar"></a>Toolbar</h2>
Mode: The toolbar can be displayed in two ways:
Top: A fixed bar at the top of the editor (like most word processors).

Bubble: A contextual menu that appears when you select text (similar to highlighting text on a webpage).

You can also customize which Text Style Options (bold, italic, etc.) and Node Type Options (headings, quotes, etc.) appear in the toolbar.
<h2 id="ai-actions"><a aria-hidden="true" tabindex="-1" href="#ai-actions"></a>AI Actions</h2>
The real magic of the Advanced Editor Input lies in its AI actions. These actions let you automate tasks and generate content directly within the editor. There are two main locations for AI actions:

<li>Top Menu: Actions here are designed to affect the entire editor content. When you run a Top Menu AI action, the AI's response will replace everything currently in the editor.</li>
<li>Bubble Menu: Actions here are more focused. They work on selected text. After the AI responds, you get to choose whether to replace the selected text with the AI's output, insert the output below the selection, or discard the AI's response entirely.</li>

Actions you added here will be shown in the AI Assistant top menu. When user selects an action, its prompt will run and response will stream into the editor. AI response will replace the full content of the editor.

Sometimes, you might want to let user write their own prompt instead of selecting one of the <a href="/#Predefined%20Actions" title="#Predefined Actions">#Predefined Actions</a>. When you enabled this option by selecting an action, an additional input will be added to the AI Assistant where user can type their own prompts.

The prompt written by user will be available at <code>{{prompt}}</code> data key in your AI Action. So, when you are creating your AI action (e.g. "user prompt top" action in the screenshot), you might want to create something like this assuming you are creating a cover letter writer:
